It's Been a Long Time!!!

Hey Y'all
I haven't been on lately because I have been working so much at Dollywood but there's been a lot to say, such as James and I got ourselves a 2015 Chevy Spark, we got Sparky in May of 2015, and we absolutely love having our own car and we don't have to depend on people driving us everywhere, on Christmas of 2015 James finally got down on one knee and asked me to marry him in front of the Christmas tree so that's what ended 2015, James and I got officially engaged, I have a diamond engagement ring from Jared on my left ring finger, it's simply gorgeous and most of all I picked it out, our engagement video in up on Youtube, here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uKOmlTOzId0 and while James and I are offically engaged and planning our wedding for 8-18-18, we started looking at places to live since we are engaged and needed to be out on our own, we looked at every apartment (low-income and high end) and thought we found the "one." While I was in Missouri to visit my family, James called me and told me the place we put our names down on the waiting list called and told him they had an apartment for us so when I came home to transfer back into the restaurant I worked at in Dollywood, we went to give them paystubs, so we thought ok this is it we finally found ourselves a home, we thought it was it and we can sign the papers and we can get the keys, oh no it wasn't, the lady called us one day and said she needed more paperwork such as more paystubs and unemployment (wasn't eight paystubs enough since it was government housing and plus we were on the waiting list for a year and a half) so we drove over to the apartment complex, and gave her more papers, she said she would call us once corporate decided so we waited, while we waited for the phone call, we looked at other places just in case we weren't qualified. So we finally got the phone call and the lady said we qualified and bring money orders in (we took a tour of the apartment and thought it had potential) so we were about to until the lady said they peek in our apartments unannounced, they look in our groceries and car, and we couldn't hang anything up on the walls, so we talked to James' Mom about it and she said that wouldn't be for us so back to the start we went and we called them and turned down the apartment (boy were they mad) , and then when we were down on our luck we remembered that we looked at these luxury apartments when I first moved down here and thought we can never afford it, well with me working at Dollywood at full time most of the time, we could afford it. So we went to the office and filled out paperwork just to see if we get approved and since we waited for a month and half for the government housing to approve us we were scared, so we went to Walmart to get some things and we received the phone call from the Overlook at Allensville Square (the apartment we had just looked at) and they approved us, (yay!!!) so we went the next day and put money down and they put us on the list for a two bedroom and two bathroom to move into on April 28th, 2016. So in April we officially moved into our own apartment and we have never been happy, we have a pool, gym, and our own space, also this year I celebrated my dirty thirty birthday and James took me to Asheville, North Carolina and we went to the Biltmore, I couldn't ask for a better birthday is to celebrate with the love of my life in a beautiful state and in our own place where we can call a home.

I went Vegan!!!!

Hey Y'all,
Sorry for the lack of updates but I have been on a hiatus since I kinda moved to Tennessee to be with my wonderful fiance, James and I got a job at Dollywood and I like it, but since I moved to Tennessee I have lost over 20 pounds and since the start of 2014 I have been thinking of a lot of diets to try and I have found the right one and that is Veganism, I have been finding recipes to try and see if it is the right decision I made since I have been too afraid to indulge into a strict Vegan diet. I'm home in Missouri til March 15th and when I go back to Tennessee I'm gonna try some recipes that are Vegan and see if I like them, I have found the perfect cupcake place that happens to sell Vegan cupcakes and that's Gigi's Cupcakes of Pigeon Forge (http://pigeonforgetn.gigiscupcakesusa.com) I have found some cookbooks that are Vegan so I'm on the verge of making the best decision I have made besides saying yes to James' proposal, if anybody knows of a restaurant or bakery or a cookbook to suggest please share and thanks again.

My review on Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Cupcake

I was recently at ULTA trying to find a perfect lipstick that suited me and I was looking at the high end ones from Urban Decay, Too Faced, Smashbox, Benefit, and CARGO and I just couldn't find the "one" when I almost gave up when I went over to the drugstore side, and looked at all of the drugstore brands, such as Neutrogena, Cover Girl, Maybelline, and finally Revlon and was going to give up again, when something caught my eye, I went over and it was Revlon's Colorburst Lip Butter, I looked at all the colors when I finally decided on the color, Cupcake and it was absolutely the right color, so I bought it, the minute I got home, I tried it on and it was absolutely beautiful, I will definitely buy more, I just wish Wal-Mart would get them in, my local Wal-Mart didn't have them, and I'm bummed, I hope they do get them, but I always go to ULTA, so I will buy more when I go, I want to get the colors Sweet Tart and Strawberry Shortcake and many others. I have heard many great reviews on Youtube for these things and all of my friends want to try this lipstick and I give it a 5 out of 5 for the price, color, shine, and how it feels on my lips.

EDIT: I found more lip butters at Walgreens, Wal-Mart, and CVS so I'm going to try and get more soon.

Happy New Year!!!!!!

A new year is a fresh start for me, I will be blogging about beauty products and my daily life, my reviews on movies, make-up, tv shows, and my life in general. In 2011 I celebrated my one year anniversary with my fiance, James we have been together since August 18th 2010, and in December of 2010 we got engaged, he is the best boyfriend I can ask for, he supports me in whatever I do. Over the Summer of 2011 I moved from my childhood home in Ferguson, Missouri (a suburb of St. Louis) to Chesterfield, Missouri into an apartment with my Mom, James lives in Florida with his parents and sister, Sara (more on that girl in a blog.) It has been always me, Mom, Daddy, and Aunt Barbie when in 2007 my wonderful Father died and left us girls to fend for ourselves. Mom couldn't handle the house and neighborhood anymore so she let the house go back to the bank and Aunt Barbie moved out into a friend's house and we found an apartment and moved in late July of 2011, I actually love it here, I have my own bathroom which is cool since I can store my make-up and stuff, I love my bedroom, its kinda quiet since Mom's room is on the other side of the apartment and we're separated by a wall and the kitchen and dining room, this is my first blog on here and certainly not the last, I will review a lipstick I bought at ULTA two weeks ago tomorrow or Tuesday, stay tuned.
